The NATO Summit has cleared out of town and left in its wake a re-occupied Bucharest. Gone is the pristinely clean, uncrowded, police state. Back are the stray dogs, Dacias and traffic galore, and with all that, dirt. But its springtime, my favorite season, and the birds are singing, flowers are blooming, etc. It got up to 80 degrees for two days and it has settled nicely into the low 70s. I'll write more soon about NATO.
